About NFB Kerala

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is one of India’s largest self-help organizations of persons with blindness, guided by the motto “Let the Blind Lead the Blind.”

NFB Kerala, established in 2019 as the official state branch of NFB India, works to promote empowerment, equality, and independent living for persons with visual impairments across Kerala. Through education, skill development, accessibility initiatives, and rights advocacy, we strive to create an inclusive society where every visually impaired individual can live with dignity and confidence.

Our initiatives span education and employment support, training programs, cultural and sports activities, and close collaboration with government agencies to strengthen welfare schemes and opportunities.
